I'm a Kolkata native and San Francisco, based technologist focused on advancing the use of AI for high-impact, real-world problems especially those related to climate, energy, and the finance. I currently work as a Quantitative Researcher at Squarepoint, a global hedge fund, where I specialize in AI-driven weather and energy forecasting to inform trading strategies.

Prior to Squarepoint, I led applied AI efforts across the climate and energy sectors. At Equilibrium Energy, I served as Principal AI Scientist, developing real-time forecasting systems for load, generation, and grid volatility in U.S. day-ahead power markets. Before that, I was on the founding team of Excarta, a venture-backed startup building an AI-powered weather intelligence platform for businesses.

I'm passionate about making breakthroughs in AI accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences. My talks and lectures on AI x Climate have been featured at SF Climate Week, OpenAI, MIT, NVIDIA, NPR, Bloomberg TV, NeurIPS, MILA, NSF, and the U.S. Department of Energy.
